The Fashion & Beauty

Our Process

We publish recommendations for skincare, makeup, and fashion — a space where bad information has real consequences. This page explains how we try to get it right.

How we choose what to cover

Every story on The Fashion & Beauty starts with a question we have encountered ourselves or heard repeatedly from the community. We prioritise topics where:

We do not publish content to match a keyword, chase a trend, or fill a calendar.

What we look for in products

When we feature a product, we assess it against these criteria:

Sponsored posts are always labelled as such and never influence our editorial independence.

How we handle corrections

Beauty science evolves. If a post contains an error — whether a formulation change, a misattributed quote, or a price that has shifted — we update the article and note the correction at the bottom of the page. We do not delete old posts quietly.

If you spot an error, please contact us.

Who reviews our work

All health and formulation claims are reviewed by at least one editor with a background in cosmetic chemistry, dermatology, or related fields before publication. Style and trend pieces are reviewed for factual accuracy and cultural context.

Our editorial team operates independently of any brand or affiliate relationship. Affiliate links are disclosed inline and in our Terms & Conditions.
